I am a photographer based in Northeast Ohio, where I live with my lovely wife. From the moment a held a Minolta XG-7 film camera in my hand during a cross country trip from California to Ohio in the late 1970s, I was hooked. Images of Yosemite, Colorado and Ohio left a strong impression on me and helped me find a creative outlet.
My work is shaped by a deep appreciation for time spent outdoors, capturing the quiet moments and overlooked details that often go unnoticed.
In contrast to an increasingly fast-paced and technology-driven world, I seek solitude and renewal through the wonder and mystery of nature.
Whether exploring distant landscapes or observing the subtle beauty and wildlife of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, my camera is a constant companion.
I believe nature photography is less about documenting a place and more about conveying the experience of being there—an effort to capture not only what is seen, but what is felt. For me, time spent in nature is both inspiration and reward, offering a perspective that extends far beyond the frame.
